Dethatching is the process of removing dead grass and lawn debris, that has collected over extended periods of time. This layer of thatch starves the soil of the necessary water, oxygen and nutrients that it requires.

We recommend that most lawns be dethatched once every other year, but in some cases yearly dethatching is necessary.

We offer this service in spring and fall, and often bundle it with aerating and/or over seeding.
